Delete Your MemoChamp Account

You can delete your MemoChamp account yourself, on the website or in the Android app. It takes under a minute and removes your data straight away.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open your account menu and choose Settings (or go to Settings).
3. Scroll to Delete account and press Delete account….
4. Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and press Delete my account.

You are signed out and your account is gone. Deleting is permanent: we can't restore it, but you can always sign up again with a fresh account.

What is deleted

• Your profile: username, name, bio, country, links, profile picture and cover image.
• Every drill and match result, your ratings, rankings, badges, streak and personal bests.
• Your memory palaces, Major and PAO systems, saved presets, goals and review schedules.
• Your follows, rivals, comments, notifications and match invitations.
• Your blocked-athletes list, any reports that other people made about you or your content, and the notification subscriptions of your devices.
• Your sign-in details, and your address on our training-email list.

What is kept, and what is affected

• Matches you played are removed from your opponents' history as well, since a match belongs to both players. Their ratings do not change.
• Reports you made about other people's comments and profiles stay, without your name, so they can still be acted on.
• Payment and tax records, if you ever bought Pro, are held by our payment provider, Paddle, and kept as the law requires. We don't hold your card details.
• Backups. Copies of the database in our hosting provider's routine backups are not edited individually; they expire on the provider's normal schedule.
• The newsletter is separate from your account. If you signed up for it, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or ask us to remove you.

If you have a Pro subscription, or a match is running

Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription, so we won't let you delete one that can still bill you. Cancel Pro first using the link in your Paddle receipt email, or email us and we'll cancel it and delete the account for you. We also ask you to finish or leave a live match first, so your opponent isn't left waiting.

Can't sign in?

Email contact@memochamp.com from the address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account. More about the data we hold is in the privacy policy.
